Il y a trois ans, Leif Vollebekk offrait à la scène néo-folk un premier album auto-produit,"Inland", qui a convaincu les fans de la vieille école (Dylan, Neil Young) autant que ceuxd'artistes plus actuels tels Devandra Banhart, Ryan Adams et Gillian Welch.

Cette impressionnante carte de visite a permis à Leif Vollebekk de bien s'entourerpour "North Americana", son second album à paraître en février 2013. Les maîtres-d'oeuvresdes meilleurs albums d'Arcade Fire, Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperoret Leonard Cohen ont ainsi apporté leur touche personnelle aux nouvelles chansons. Ilen résulte un album vivant et humain, dans la pure tradition Volebekkienne. «Je me senscomme si j’avais fait un album tout droit sorti des années 70, que personne n’a entenduauparavant», dit-il.

Le spectacle du lancement officiel au Cercle vous donnera donc la chance de voir etentendre un artiste au potentiel de rayonnement international indéniable. À ne pasmanquer.
