Rumatera was born in summer 2007 when Bullo, Gosso, Sciukka and Rocky Gio got together to start a punk rock band that could carry on the spirit of the "tosi de campagna" (which means "boys from the country"), as a way to express love to their roots and freedom from any kind of mass influence or fashion trends, always staying true to themselves.
Their music has lots of inspiration sources, mainly ranging from the U.S. West Coast punk rock scene of the 90's to classic hard rock. They sing in a dialect slang from the hinterlands of the Venice coast, but they've also published an English version of their first self-titled album "Rumatera", named "My Crew". Their lyrics are all about the life of the "tosi de campagna" made of party-hard attitude, sincere friendships, girls, beers. In a single word: fun!
The audience response at their live gigs is getting wider and wider through the years and their videos have reached top positions on the youtube music charts and count more than half a million total views.
