They’re four girls on fire from Quebec with singular names: Pouliche, Steph Duchesse, Gab and Yvonne Eric. They play hard rock that calls to mind the days when Courtney Love and Melissa Auf der Maur shared the stage. They released “Black Paper Horse” last fall and leave an indelible impression wherever they play live.
Machinegun Suzie has the happy task of heating things up before Gros Mené and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion at the Impérial. Hard to imagine a better set up!
