After only two albums, Bahamas has already built a solid reputation. In addition to having collaborated with various musicians from the Canadian music scene such as Jason Collett (Broken Social Scene) and Feist, he was nominated for a 2010 Juno award for roots & traditional album of the year (solo).
Bahamas’ (aka Afie Jurvanen) music is something along the lines of Damien Rice’s cool folk pop. With emphasis on the word cool!
