In 2011, The Sheepdogs won a contest and ended up on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. A few months later, the group from Saskatoon won the Juno award for rock album of the year. They then locked themselves in a studio to create their fourth album with Patrick Carney, drummer of the blues rock duo The Black Keys. The album hit number one on Canadian charts in its first week.
And now the best southern rock group from the north is coming to the Festival for a second time. As headliners!
