The Record Company’s sound is somewhere between the blues and old school rock ‘n roll. Even if the trio cut their teeth on Muddy Waters, The Kinks and John Lee Hooker, they’ve also been influenced by artists closer to their generation. In fact, on their mini-album, “Covers,” they put their own spin on songs by The Beastie Boys, Iggy Pop and The Grateful Dead.
The Record Company is further proof that style still makes a big difference after all these years.
