Located in the city of Chicago, Mississippi Heat stands currently on the American contemporary Blues scene reviving the Chicago Blues of the 50s. Conducted by the Belgian harmonicist Pierre Lacocque, who lives in the city of Blues for over 15 years, the group formed in 1992 by drummer Robert Covington, have more than 10 recordings in his career. Mississippi Heat tries to constantly renew, while remaining original and respecting the tradition of the Blues. Blues Gospel singer Ineta Visor joined the group in 2001 and assumes masterfully original interpretations or standards of this great musical style timeless.
