Exceptional artists take part in Forêt’s first album: singer Émilie Laforest, formerly with Pierre Lapointe, composer Joseph Marchand, who previously worked with Ariane Moffatt, producer and Karkwa member François Lafontaine and poet and lyricist Kim Doré.
Together they released a debut album that garnered praise from critics, including Alain Brunet of La Presse: “The balance attained here between the lyrics and the music leads me to conclude that this Forêt will be considered one of the best Quebec francophone albums in 2013.”
