Producers Hooks and DC began collaborating under the name Mass Productions nearly ten years ago before changing their name to Zeds Dead in 2009. Since then they’ve released four maxis, in addition to remixing work of artists such as Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Massive Attack, The Rolling Stones and The Roots.
Though fundamentally dubstep, the Toronto duo’s music constantly veers toward the mixing of sub-genres in the electro world. Bassnectar may be cool, but the crowd will already be warmed-up when he takes the stage after Zeds Dead at the Parc de la francophonie.
