After reaching the finals at the Festival de Granby, Hôtel Morphée played at the FrancoFolies in Montreal in 2012. There they got the attention of a journalist from renowned French magazine Les Inrocks, who included Hôtel Morphée in his article “Five Groups to Follow.”
Hôtel Morphée is composed of four young musicians trained in classical music, who on their single “Des histoires de fantômes,” perform a type of cerebral pop rock that’s surprising for its richness and maturity. It’s assuredly one of the masterpieces of the Quebec musical year.
