Jacquie Neville, singer and guitarist for The Balconies, knows only one way to perform: full tilt. It’s hard to tear your eyes from her when the trio from Ottawa starts the engine onstage. The Balconies’ power rock immediately amps up the heaviness and intensity.
The group generated a lot of buzz on the Internet after a European tour where they opened for Rival Sons earlier this year. One thing’s certain: Jacquie, Steven and Liam don’t intend to be outshone by The Hunters and Bad Religion at the Festival. Good thing for us!
