After moving to France to pursue an acting career, Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara is now becoming the youngest rising star on the world music circuit. After collaborating with Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz) and on Bobby Womack’s comeback album, she hopped on board of the African Express last year, with more than 80 African and western acts. Her acclaimed debut, "Fatou", has proved her one of a kind to watch out for.
