Three years ago, Leif Vollebekk offered the neo folk crowd a first self-produced album, “Inland,” that won over both old school fans (Dylan, Neil Young) and fans of more contemporary artists like Devandra Banhart, Ryan Adams and Gillian Welch.
The Montreal artist did it again in 2013 with “North Americana,” a new demonstration of Vollebekkian flair and refinement. With songs like these, his show at the Imperial is highly anticipated.
