Puppeteer Salim Hammad and director René Bazinet propose their version of The Nightingale, by Hans Christian Andersen. At the heart of one of the most beautiful countries on earth, a nightingale’s melodious singing enchants everyone, from the poorest fisherman all the way to the emperor, to the point that the emperor has tears in his eyes. Thus his majesty wants to own the bird and install it in his palace. What will happen then? What other events might result from this?
