Pays d'origine: ChineFormed in the Autumn of 2009, Shotgun Politics had one mission. Make the songs catchy, and perform the hell outta them on stage.Niall, Freddy, Jimmy and Timmy soon had enough material to record and release an EP titled Broadcast. Recorded and mixed completely DIY by the band. After two years of trying to get as many people as possible to know about the Shotgun Politics party, it was time to record a new album. Glow was released in the summer of 2011. The EP was also recorded and mixed by the members of SP and features a guest choir who usually sing the works of Bach. Yes... THE Bach. Glow was mastered by two time Grammy nominee and Pink Floyd recording engineer Andrew Jackson of Tube Mastering.Tragedy struck Shotgun Politics when they had difficulty holding down a second guitar player. The calls of careers, love and the tribulations of life all got in the way of the band wanting to cement that place in the band. Eventually, the path for Kid from highly adored local band IN LOVE & PAIN answered Jimmy, Timmy and Freddy's plea for him to join the ruckus.The year is now 2013 and Shotgun Politics have shifted their strategies into record mode ... thats right good people, plans for a 3rd release are in motion!.Here is a list of some of the bands favourite show's they have been involved with ... a highlight reel if you will:
