Choir of 17 voices, double bass, harp
“Sacred music is music that praises and glorifies; that transcends the isolation of the individual's daily struggle, to feel at one with the eternal and with all creation. It is a yearning that has been in humans since the beginning. My mother was agnostic, with strong beliefs in life and humans' capacity to grow and evolve, and an awe for the beauty of the physical universe. At least, that is what she transmitted to me. » Karen Young
Ms. Young would like to thank the Council of Arts and Letters of Quebec and the Canada Council for the Arts for their valuable support in the creation and production of this work.
