Sekou Kouyaté, a former Guinean member of the band Ba Cissoko, and Joe Driscoll, a New York multi-instrumentalist, met at the 2010 Festival Nuits Métis in Marseille. Since then, the unusual duo has been mixing rap with kora in a world - fusion niche that brings to mind the audacity of Michael Franti.
