The Montreal band CLAASS combines the talents of two of the founders of We Are Wolves, Alexander Ortiz and Vincent Levesque, with that of DJ Jordan Dare. The trio was created in 2007 with a shared ambition to explore new sounds, to integrate past and present inspirations and to produce a "homemade" sound that would reflect their creativity. Without necessarily turning nostalgic, this distinctly experimental project resulted in a savvy blend of electro and post-punk that definitely, but not exclusively, leans toward dance.
