With the consent of Buddy McNeil, an American singer-songwriter who gave as a legacy in 2006 his entire repertoire to Alexis Laberge, the Buddy McNeil & The Magic Mirrors immortalized the first part of the texan masterpiece, a first in history. A 50s journey revisited by the musicians of the band - five well-known faces of the Montreal indie scene - which gave birth to a first EP from the Buddy McNeil Collection in spring 2008. Renown for their colorful perfomances, the Magic Mirrors will climb stages this year to present unheard material which will be released in a full-length album in 2009. A happy mix of 60s rock'n'roll garage, 50s high school pop dance, Saint's country and South-West cotton blues... Wam Bam!
