Although the timbre of his voice betrays him, the music of Lukas Nelson is still a few miles away from the country sound that was practically invented by his famous father Willy. Flanked by his band Promise of the Real, Lukas Nelson hasn’t had any trouble forging his own identity by wailing out inspired blues-rock & folk to all kinds of audiences at the biggest festivals and tiniest venues in America. Neil Young, his idol, even asked him to join him at the studio early this year to help him record a new album. Consecration!
