Chocolat is back after a taking a few years off, while leader Jimmy Hunt wowed critics and fans alike with two magnificent solo albums. Obviously Chocolat 2.0 is in the mood to bring down the house again with Tss Tss, their second album in 6 years after Piano élégant. On this album it’s great to rediscover the group’s innate flair for killer melodies, with a coating of psychedelic rock, highlighting an aspect the band and lead singer had not explored much to date. And it works like a charm!
