Last fall, a few sound crafters from Arcade Fire, Timber Timbre, Bell Orchestre, Jorane and Avec pas d’casque met up at the studio where Julie Blanche was recording her first album. The result couldn’t be better, especially since Miss Blanche had already shown her colours with a magnificent EP featuring three songs and winning second place at Francouvertes 2014. If you like Salomé Leclerc’s melancholy, ethereal pop, Julie Blanche will be one of your great FEQ 2015 discoveries.
