Is Gabrielle Papillon from Québec? No, she’s originally from Halifax. Newcomer? Not at all. She has five albums on her discography, four of which were recorded after getting her master’s degree in English Literature and History in 2009. Her most recent is called The Tempest of Old, which maintains the folk spirit of her first albums in a more spacious and orchestral form.
