Give Bertrand Belin space to create and he’ll fill it up without limiting himself to a genre, channel or medium. His first novel, Requins, has been in bookstores since early this year. Musically, he explored jazz, zydeco, Cuban and pop in a collaborative framework, before landing on folk for his solo career. Rave reviews for his 4th and latest album, Parcs, have finally revealed Bertrand Belin to a wider public. Inrocks gave him a perfect score, describing the album as «dazzling from beginning to end». We agree.
