Besides learning the ropes at the school of Dylan, Cohen, Lanois and Neil Young, Randall Spear was literally born with folk blood in his veins, since his grandfather, Patrick O’Neil, was an Irish folk musician. This doesn’t prevent him from flirting with country and blues on occasion. No matter what the style, Randall Spear and an intimate venue are a winning combination.
