A little over 10 years ago, a young Algonquin rapper attracted attention with his revindicating rhymes. He is emerging as the voice of a whole people among a new generation of Quebecers who’ve wasted no time in adopting him. Samian has since experienced an impressive ascent in Québec and elsewhere in the world, having also performed in France, Finland and China. A multidisciplinary artist, poet and activist, Samian has succeeded in a bringing people together through a body of work that transcends music.
