To use an old cliché, brothers David and Joey Landreth fell into music when they were little. So little in fact that their mother put them peacefully to sleep under bar tables where their father was playing. He was a professional musician who backed up many artists in Winnipeg bars. Did this early introduction to music play any role in the destiny of The Bros. Landreth? We would like to think so. What we do know is that the Americana-blues bland won the best “roots” album prize at the last JUNO awards!Source :
