Formed on 2011 in Québec City, 5 for trio builds its own kind of bridge between modern jazz and progressive music through influences like Tigran Hamasyan and The Bad Plus.
Harfang is another Québec City band, whose indie-folk style is often compared to Half Moon Run and Radiohead.
The objective of this Ampli showcase is to introduce the talents of local up-and-coming authors, composers and performers.
