Combine the melodic sense of Half Moon Run with the endless experimentation of Patrick Watson and you’ll get an excellent idea of what Equse is capable of. The Rimouski trio also makes good use of its progressive roots to create complex dreamlike worlds, which sometimes take on unexpected dimensions on stage. With such potential, Equse definitely hasn’t finished surprising us.
