Porter Robinson became addicted to EDM (Electronic Dance Music) at the age of 12 when he heard the music from the game Dance Dance Revolution. Barely six years later, Skrillex offered him a recording contract on his label. Today the American producer and DJ channels his passions for art, Japanese culture and – of course – video games into his music and performances, an approach that has earned him worldwide admiration from fans, critics and peers (including Skrillex, Tiesto and deadmau5).
