The bragging brass band
The village of Toutencaleçon is home to a brass band like no other. A conceited conductor, who sometimes directs the musicians with his right hand and sometimes the left, takes this wacky band on a trip. Against winds and tides, with humour and sweet madness, we follow their beating drums from Brazil to Ukraine with a detour to Mars. This show’s ultra-modern approach, which combines world music and clowning, introduces the audience to brass instruments with a wink to body percussion.
