The album Tales of Mystery and Imagination conquered a wide audience in the mid-70s during the golden age of concept albums. For Alan Parsons, the recognition was all the more sudden because he had been more used to working behind the scenes as a sound engineer for the likes of the Beatles on Let It Be and Abbey Road, and Pink Floyd on The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Already well on its way, the Alan Parsons Live Project then gained considerable success, which culminated in the early 80s with the timeless “Eye In the Sky” from the album of the same name. If you had given up on the idea of seeing APLP on stage one day, rejoice! Alan Parsons and his musicians will serve up their best songs at the beginning of this great evening of classic rock.
