Recipient of the FEQ Espoir prize in 2015 and Révélation Radio-Canada in 2014-2015, Pierre Kwenders seduced Québec critics as soon as his first album came out in 2014, Le dernier empereur bantou. Mixing the dexterity of electronic music, African pop, Congolese rumba, hip-hop and soul, the eccentric Montrealer, originally from the Congo, weaves a world of breathtaking modernity in French, English and Bantu. Brilliant and overflowing with talent, energetic and charismatic, this young singer-songwriter is renowned for knowing how to “groove” the audience. The night promises to be hot!
