While his band The Gaslight Anthem is taking a break, singer Brian Fallon is launching a solo career, moving from melodic punk-rock to folk reminiscent of the early days of Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen. Recorded entirely in Nashville with the help of Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry), his first album Painkillers spotlights a portrayal of America where the middle class still and always has its say.
