Besides having the chance to work with director Brian Deck (Modern Mouse, Iron & Wine), this young band from the Laurentians seems to be following in the footsteps of Half Moon Run. Their first album, Princess Flash, with electro-rock influences, calls to mind Wolf Parade and Grizzly Bear. After opening for artists such as Violent Femmes, Alex Nevsky, and Phantogram, Foreign Diplomats seems ready to fly on its own.
