Four years after her first appearance at the Festival, the sulphurous Inna Modja is back in Québec to ignite Place D’Youville with her multi-faceted pop once again. An artist who is both committed and engaging, the singer, actress and model is going home to her roots on her latest album, Motel Bamako. Blues and soul meet hip-hop rhythms and electro sounds permeated with the colours of Mali. The dancer of the "French Cancan" denounces war and sings of hope in English and Bambara, her native language. A simply mesmerizing homecoming.
