Frederick John (Fred) Cribb is well known for his community involvement in education and health, more particularly within Québec City's English-speaking community.
Fred Cribb is a graduate of Saint Francis Xavier University, in Nova Scotia, as well as of Sir George Williams University, in Montreal. In 1980, Fred Cribb joined the Board of Directors of the St. Patrick's Credit Union, created to meet the needs of the English- speaking community of Quebec City. Mr. Cribb was also a Director of the St. Patrick's High School Old Boys' Association and was responsible for organizing the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the school held in 1993.
Fred Cribb has also shown great interest for the field of public health. He was for 10 years a Director of the Friends of Jeffrey-Hale Foundation and, until recently, was a member of the Board of Directors of the Jeffrey Hale Hospital.
Mr. Cribb is President of the Calgary-Quebec Exchange, which aims to foster partnerships between the organization of the Québec Carnival and the City of Calgary - Calgary Stampede, thereby promoting economic and cultural benefits for both of these twin cities.
