Reviving the name under which he first took to the stage, Jacques Jacobus goes back in time and measures the distance he’s travelled from the rapper who insolently wore chains and caps to the dandy who forged a place on the Québec and Acadian hip hop scene with Radio Radio. Somewhere between introspection and hedonism, between rap and electro, here he tries to reconcile the candour of his youth with the refinement of his thirties. With the help of long-time friend Alexandre Arthur Comeau, Le retour de Jacobus is the effervescent plea of a man determined to prove that the magic of life and music is not an illusion.
