Brothers Ewan and Shamus Currie, both members of the popular Canadian retro-rock band The Sheepdogs, come together on BROS, their latest musical adventure. Springing from a need to experiment with other sound dimensions, BROS sticks with the vintage tones of The Sheepdogs while soft-pedaling the guitar and borrowing more from funk and power pop. Their first album, Vol. 1, although eclectic overall, forms a coherent and well-crafted whole.
