A self-taught guitarist, this French singer of Senegalese origin has often been compared to Ben Harper. Since his debut in 2000 with Préambule until the release of his most recent album, Les Chroniques de Pierrot Lunaire (2016), Tété has charmed audiences and critics alike with catchy compositions and intelligent, meaningful lyrics of great humanity. On his Chroniques, the artist’s blues-folk goes acoustic for a more intimate and purified tone.
