Both epic and intangible, the new original songs of folk singer Leif Vollebekk on Twin Solitude have changed a little from his former register. Thanks to the contribution of the musicians of Timber Timbre and Barr Brothers, the man who now calls Montréal home and who is often compared to Jeff Buckley, is now allowing himself more freedom in his art. Since starting out, he’s shared the stage with names like Daniel Lanois, Beth Orton, Patrick Watson, and Cœur de Pirate. A name to remember.
