A self-taught musician, Jo Mersa Marley grew up surrounded by music created by members of his illustrious family, the most famous of course being his grandfather, the legendary Bob Marley. Testing his wings with two singles, the career of this 26-year-old artist officially took off in 2014, when he released a six-song mini-album on the digital platforms of iTunes and Spotify, entitled Comfortable. Far from being a carbon copy of Bob Marley, Jo Mersa pours his talents into music that melds dancehall, pop, reggae and hip hop.
