Founded in 2002, the Souljazz Orchestra has recorded seven albums with committed lyrics, performed in two dozen countries and shared the stage with music legends such as Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder. Like their album covers, the sextet’s music is composed of a rich pallet of colours, each song more vibrant than the next. The Ontario band is in the mood for a party and you can hear it in their music: Afro groove, Latin, disco, soul, Caribbean, jazz and boogie unfurl and tangle in a unique whirlwind of sound.
