Faithful to their motto, from traditional blues to their own unique sound, Mississipi Heat has been playing together for a good twenty years on a journey all over North America, South America and Europe. Harmonica player, Pierre Larocque, was the son of a Belgian Protestant pastor, who started learning his instrument at the age of three and discovered soul and blues with a master in the league of Big Walter Horton. Names like Buddy Guy and Charlie Musselwhite are full of praise when it comes to the band of singer and guitarist Jon MacDonald.
