Con Brio’s style is somewhere between the psychedelic funk-rock of Sly & the Family Stone and the typically American soul of the one and only James Brown. In fact, singer Ziek McCarter’s dance steps of are largely inspired by American black music. Their latest album, All Over Me, is a testament to the exceptional mastery of these seven talented musicians from San Francisco.
