Folk / United StatesNone other than the son of the legendary Willie Nelson, Lukas Nelson, is quietly entering the country-rock scene with expertly soulful harmonies in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd. At age 20, he founded Promise of the Real with Anthony LeGerfo, Tato Melgar and Merlyn Kelly, where he alternates between introspective ballads and rhythmic wonders. He even collaborated with pop star Lady Gaga on Find Yourself with blues accents, demonstrating once again the quartet’s variety of registers.
