The fame of this quintet from Nova Scotia has been growing since the launch of their debut album in 2016, the solid In the Battle Years. After a tour all over Canada and the United States, the group went to work on a second album, which they finally released in early 2018. The Wilder Beyond leaves behind the folk roots of the first album, but the delicious vocal harmonies are still there, supported by layered guitar and keyboard arrangements, taking listeners on a fabulous indie rock ride.
