This Finnish-born Ontarian began his music career by collaborating with such prestigious artists as Feist, Howie Beck and Jack Johnson. Under the name Bahamas, on his latest album Earthtones, he moves from tender folk to catchy R & B grooves. Inspired by the neo-soulful tradition ranging from the likes of Al Green to D'Angelo, his music is much more rhythmical now and reminiscent in some ways of 70s soft rock. Creative spontaneity at its best.
