The technical death metal band Hatalom was formed in Québec City in 2017. Made up of musicians Romano Kis-Rabata, William Rousseau, Seb Verret and JP Beaulieu, the group made a notable entrance on the Québec underground scene by playing with world-renowned artists such as Aubury and Bloodshot Dawn. Their debut album, launched independently in July 2018, was very positively received by the metal community, particularly in Canada and Europe. Anthony Caron has now replaced JP Beaulieu on vocals, and a second guitarist, Hubert Gagné, has joined the band, which is currently working on new material.
