Although a relatively new name on the local scene, Sudden Waves is more of a super-band composed of members from several metal and hardcore entities, namely, Dirt Cannon, Rangers, Godfalls, Hey Sugar and The Prestige. Far from forgetting its roots, the Montreal quintet plays explosive, melodic music with a sound like a ton of bricks. Released in 2018, Meet Me Halfway is the title of their very first album, which should be popular among metal fans.
